Looking at this closer, interesting placement of a window tucked back there. Maybe the steel area in front of that window will have something similar to those openings we see on Wonder. Or may be there is more opening we cant see from this angle.

I have heard similar sentiment before 😀. It does say something when a cruise line decides only one in that class. Still I think the whole ship building process is very fascinating from start to finish. And some of us enjoy the guessing of what goes where, like currently on the Icon Blocks 😀

So far three are planned.But with Royal you never know 😀. Who would have guessed 6 Oasis Class ships.

Trying to guess where these blocks could go. It appears that the two lower decks may not be Infinite Balcony cabins. Assuming they keep those on the same deck levels then does that place these 12 to 16. On the other hand they can switch from Infinite to regular type balconies on the same deck similar to Celebrity Edge Class.

Looks like that section of the deck could be a hump as it curves outward.

Then after those came the others you shared the other day reposting here below. I looked at these below over and over ( even after Lloyd thought no) and it sure looks like more semi mega blocks were added behind Central Park (7,8 and 9). Perhaps I need new glasses 😀

@Panda Monium Is it my imagination or did they also install more mega blocks towards the aft and behind the earlier “central park” blocks? Thanks

Yeap, good thought as they have on Edge Class, Spectrum, and then decided to put those suites on Oasis forward bridge wings. I am sure given what Norwegian and MSC have done with their special suite areas, Royal will be totally reimagining theirs on Icon.

Infinite Verandas cabins and Hot Tubs on the edge of the Port side yes. But please please please, NO Magic Carpet 😀

Good point and observation. If I recall correctly, I think Studio B on Oasis Class is on decks 4,3 and 2 perhaps the lowest?. There were some blocks either posted here or on FB by you or @Lloyd555 that some referred to as a ski slope. Is this similar to that maybe?

Strange looking and interesting thing. Is that even on the ship yet or part of the block on the side.

We definitely need a dose of updates and photos. Loyal to Royal twitter page shared a video of a block on the move. However you really can’t see the building dock and were it was placed. Our last cruise was March 12, 2022. On February 17th one bid showed expired and the second showed pending. The next day, February 18th around 7:30AM the Congrats letter came through and my CC was also already charged. You are in a good position and may win your pending bid. Good luck.

Maybe it has been mentioned already, but I was looking at some of the blocks with that small notch and wondering what it could be. Now that it seems from recent photos that the outside promenade may two levels high with regular balcony cabins right above, I think that notch could be for the Lifeboat davit. See photo illustration. @Lloyd555 Perhaps you’ve seen some more recent photos too 😉.

Even though they got their original idea from Royal’s Oasis Class ships, I do like this look they have.
