  1. Hi, I have completed this and got the Express Pass for both me and DH. Neither says ‘expedited boarding’ or ‘call’ for our drinks package. Does it matter?
  2. Rome is a wonderful city with so much to see so I would say as many days as you can spare.
  3. We don’t like to sit near the pool preferring a quieter area but still see chair hogs. I notice in the photo the loungers behind are empty. Could you not swop them? You haven’t touched their personal belongings nor ‘their’ loungers? People move loungers around all the time!
  4. Well good for you. I too usually have the package as a perk but recognise that I am paying for it anyway. I can also feel the pain for those who don’t have the perk.

  6. Does anyone have a free phone number to call Celebrity please, or a UK captains club number? Not to book a cruise but to answer a query about a future cruise certificate. Thanks
  7. Yes, this happened to us a couple of years ago. We had chosen our balcony cabin well in advance, then just happened to notice a couple of weeks before sailing that we had been moved. Called Celebrity and complained. They said they would move us back to our original one. But in the time they took us out of our ‘new’ cabin they discovered they couldn’t contact the people in our ‘old’ cabin so went to put us back in the ‘ new’ cabin only to find it had been booked again by some one else. Moved us into yet another cabin. So 3 up to now. We continued to express how unhappy we were and they gave us on board credit and a future cruise credit. When we got to the pier we explained the paperwork wasn’t correct only to be told we had been moved again. This time we had been upgraded to the Royal Family Suite. ( only 2 of us). So turned out to be a winner for us. Hope they work something out for you.
  8. Drinks are now unlimited between 5 & 7. Yes in the Sunset bar. No not on embarkation night or night of officers party.
  9. I am a recent convert. Got mine from Amazon and plan to get another set. I got a set of mixed sizes.
  10. The drinks benefit is now unlimited and I would like to see the hours changed as well. It would be nice if they matched Royal, 5 until 8.
  11. Diamond plus are Elite on Celebrity, not Elite plus
  12. We have sailed on partially chartered ships before and to be honest it hasn’t impacted on us. I think they try and minimise the impact to other cruisers. The Allure is a big ship! At the end of the day though only you can decide if you want to take the risk.
  13. The Solarium area hasn’t been changed.
  14. Dont worry, you can’t get them out. The only issue I had was when the cabin steward filled them up and placed them back in a different order. I don’t wear my glasses in the shower so didn’t see they had moved. !
  15. We used to use that area as it was nice and quiet with comfortable loungers. We were sad that it is now suite only.
  16. We have just sailed on the Millennium, first cruise out of dry dock. The cabins had these glass cupboard doors, and the safe was in one. Agree, why do they need glass doors? Pointless. Also the new wardrobe was not fit for purpose. It was not long enough to hang an evening dress without it ‘pooling’ on the floor. There were other things in the cabin that I didn’t like, but I loved all the new public areas. We are sailing on Equinox in October, after it has been in dry dock. In spite of the issues in the cabin I am really looking forward to it. Can’t wait!!
  17. This was the case on Millennium 3 weeks ago.
  18. We are on the Equinox in October this year and when we originally booked it was going to DR. This is one of the main reasons we booked as we have been to all the other stops several times, but never DR. Anyway this too has changed to Tortola. We are a little disappointed as we have been there before.
  19. Yes there is. In the Reflection lounge there is a small area at the entrance, with sofas and alcoves above with books.
  20. I am sure all will be sorted in the next few weeks, if not already. There were lots of workmen running around and it is in Celebrities best interest to fix issues.
  21. Glad you didn’t have an issue. We did and so did others who we spoke with.
  22. We will be on Equinox in October when it will be our 10th wedding anniversary. We have been given a complimentary meal by Celebrity and told we can use any restaurant. We are going to Murano as we have never been before.
