We just walk up and say how many in our party and we want to share a table. Works almost every time. There was one cruise we tried it, and they kept sitting us at a table for two. I don't know why they couldn't understand you you say table for two to share....lol
Just a wild guess, I'd say you would be in the inaugural year. We was on the Discovery End of August 2022 and her inaugural sail was March 2022 and we got the special medallions.
Our next cruise the day after embarkation is princess cay, so formal night should be day 3. That's the way it has been in the past, I'd say theirs should be the same.
Is O' Malley's opened for lunch as casual dinning? I know I wouldn't go there and pay for it for lunch. I thought most of those venues weren't open for lunch. But I am getting old and suffer from crs 🤣
At the bottom of the app where it says Home, service, journey, there is also a chat icon. It says you can stay connected to friends and family, and add new friends you make. Not on board yet, so can't test it, sorry.
Last cruise we went on, I looked into accessible cabin because DW now has a scooter. I tried booking an inside one online and got that same information none were available. I decided to call a CVP, and he said all the inside ones were booked up so he'd have to get us the next available accessible one at the inside cabin price. Got a nice balcony for inside price. He also told me the website will show none available most of the time.
It could be done if they'd get their act together and make a good app. This company has been working on the medallion app for over 6 years now, I believe if I remember right this is like the 3rd or 4th version and it's still not working properly......Kinda makes me wonder why a company would keep then around. If I hired someone and they didn't get it right after a couple of tries I'd find someone that could.
While this is a good solution, My point is, why should I even have to give them the information and check a box saying they can keep the information? I really do not trust a company that first takes over 6 years to try to get the app right and then has to start all over and it's still not right. I totally disagree with how much the shoreside hit's the companies get hit. I know the % the companies have to pay to belong comes from princess, but I will not participate.
If you are a member of AARP, you can buy Princess gift cards, $100 each for $92 they can be applied to your account as OBC. I believe they get refunded to the card if not used. You can also buy onboard credits from princess through your cruise personalizer for your cruise under extras. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, hope it helps though.
Yep...when it first came out I think it was like 7% they had to pay to princess. I'd rather stay in the blue lane than to give the app company my credit information to keep when they've had over 6 years to get the app right and still haven't done it and starts all over with another app.
If there are no astricks next to the line that shows the amount of money, then it is refundable. Like military and shareholders are no longer refundable.

The biggest problem I see is that the company that couldn't get the old apps right after over 6 years has been given the contract to try again with the new app.....maybe they will have it working right after only 5 years this time?? 🤣
We are booked on the Sun for 03/08/2025 in a mini suite. While shopping for them I did notice all mini suites said showers only. Thought we did get a accessible cabin, it said all had showers.
