LisaAtlCruiser Posted September 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2018 I tend to cruise Royal Caribbean and have gone on Celebrity a couple times. But I just booked my first Azamara cruise! Since I am Diamond Plus on RCI, I guess I am Discover on Azamara. I booked onboard my current RCI cruise but printed out and took all the information with me (including codes - thanks to info found on this forum). I got my discount and OBC for booking first half of cruise (I actually booked day 1). I don’t know if I got reduced deposit or not. Regardless, I am very excited to try Azamara. I have to wait over two years though as I booked Dec 2020 South Africa. I am traveling solo and booked an inside room. Any advice for this newbie? pattyj 1204 Posted September 8, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 8, 2018 If I book I will be a newbie with Azamara too. We have had 8 cruises on Celebrity and 1 on NCL ( we went to Hawaii before the volcanic activity got so bad) So I will be reading reviews and ideas. Thanks for posting the link, off to read it now.
