Eagle beach Surfside beach

Hi. Does anyone the cost of taxis to these beaches from the cruise port and also the cost of sunloungers/chairs.

Chair rentals will run in the $10-15 range for a full day....taxi should be about the same...

Also keep in mind that you can simply walk over to the bus station (less then 1/2 block from the port) and take the inexpensive local bus that will drop you right at Eagle (or Palm).

A cab to Eagle Beach is a flat rate of $13.00 per cab each way. The rate is posted on a sign at the pier. Do not let the driver charge per person - it is definitely a flat rate. Don't be afraid of the cab. $13 is very reasonable for a family. We gave him $15 and he was happy. :)

We were just at Surfside this week. It cost us $10/taxi ride, for up to 5 people. We had 7 people, so we had to take 2 taxis. I just read that there are some buses that are cheaper.

The beach was OK. There is some sort of restaurant (Reflexions), with a pool that you can use I guess, we didn't. The airport is also right there, so we had about 6-8 planes land while we were there for 2-3 hours.

chairs are $15 each US and beers were $6 each for the 300ml size - expensive afternoon at the beach!

We paid a taxi $13 from Eagle Beach back to the pier for 2 of us (tour operator with Trikes of Aruba dropped us off). We were charged $35 for 2 chairs and umbrella from one of the vendors. Did not care for Eagle Beach as it was packed, very noisy, and just not very relaxing. If you are looking for beach activities such as jet skis and other water sports, they have it going on.

There was a food vendor in the parking lot with pretty good food and drinks. Don't remember if they had beer. We walked into one of the local hotel pool areas and bought some drinks from the bar. We used their bathrooms to change. Drinks were about the cost of cruise ship prices, not cheap.

Eagle Beach can definitely get packed when cruise ships are in town.
