babycatcher Posted September 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2018 How big are the refrigerators on the Regal Princess balcony cabin? Can I put something 12 inches tall in it if I take the shelves out? Is there a freezer section? I like to make ice tea cubes so as not to water down my ice tea. I use decaf tea so I have to make my own.
capriccio Posted September 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2018 I don't know the exact size of the fridge (which is the same in all cabins) but it is like those in college dorms and I know we've had no problem storing a bottle of wine (or two) which I think is about 12 inches tall. For ice just ask your steward to fill your ice bucket and leave it in the fridge when your room is serviced (morning and turn-down services). You'll have ice around the clock. jlp20 Posted September 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 14, 2018 Since I use medication that needs refrigeration, I have learned to look for doors that actually close all the way. As far as your question, yes. Also check it's plugged in and running.
jlp20 Posted September 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2018 Yes, but check it's running and set for correct temp
paul929207 Posted September 14, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2018 No, you cannot make ice cubes.
cb at sea Posted September 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2018 It's basically a "dorm cube" fridge....will get things cold, but will not freeze. If your fridge is in a cabinet, keep the cabinet door ajar for airflow, and it will cool better Fridges need air!
