fldogmassage Posted November 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2017 You all will have me a seasoned kid cruiser before I leave. Thanks for all your help. Another question...for the beach do you bring beach toys from home?
kasi1979 Posted November 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2017 From Home, or we buy them for cheap at dollartree. Dd had a blast with the toys and WE Just left them behind at the end of our vacation.
akeasley Posted November 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2017 We brought two small shovels and a small sand bucket. Somehow the shovels disappeared during the cruise but I brought the bucket home to use again.
cb at sea Posted November 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Kids will be content with a plastic cup and a stick...no real need to bring shovels and pails. But, you can, if you want. Let them use their imagination. We never had "beach toys" as kids, and yet, we had a blast at the beach! We used shells to dig...sticks, our hands....we ran around, played in the nearby trees (which became our pirate ships)....we did what kids are supposed to do....PRETEND! Rare Keith1010 Posted November 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2017 When our children were young we would either bring a couple of small items for the beach or if sailing out of a place like Florida we would pick them up during our pre-cruise stay. Have a wonderful time on the cruise. Keith
southnam Posted November 25, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 25, 2017 I would say it depends on the beach and your kids age and personality. But a cheap bucket and shovel from dollar store was a great suggestion. Sent from my STH100-1 using Tapatalk
Kerry's Girls Posted November 27, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 27, 2017 Since they fit inside each other, I bring a pail for each beach with some cheap shovels, etc. Then I can leave them behind and don't have to bring sandy/wet toys back with us. Also, blow up beach balls.
