Glory...Glory...

I will be cruising with my nephew and mother in October on the Glory...This will be my 6th cruise, first on Carnival.

If you've ever been on the Glory I'm interested in knowing things that are not to miss, things to avoid, where the best place to watch sailaway is, best places to eat, etc.

With this being my first time on Carnival should I know certain things?

I just really want to hear about the time you were on this ship.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks ya'll!

upstairs from the lido buffet is a fish and chips kind of place. go there, you can get plenty of seating there too.

Awesome! Can never turn down fish and chips! I'll have to write it down in my cruise folder and check it out!

There are secret decks all the way forward on decks 6 and 7 which is a great spot for sail away. It's also where the 4J rooms are located. If you do a search you can find the threads I started where I posted the menus and Fun Times.

Great! Thanks so much! I'll be sure to write this in my cruise folder too! I'll also check out the thread!

On "elegant night" the passageway from the aft section on deck 5 to the casino gets crowded due to picture taking. If you are at dinner in the aft dining rooms and wish to avoid this, walk through the old cigar bar on deck 4, stay to the right and continue down that passageway.

The 1st staircase will take you up near the Taste Bar, and the 2nd will take you to the elevators just outside the casino bar area.

The best place to eat is the Steakhouse, I always make a reservation for one dinner there per cruise.
