Mariner of the Seas Cabins- Renovated?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I was just wondering if they also renovated the cabins on the newly renovated Mariner of the Seas? Has anyone been on to tell? My fiance and I are thinking of doing this cruise in December. Thank you!:cool:clear.png?emoji-cool-1690

The rooms didn’t seem to be especially new. They weren’t worn out or anything, but they certainly weren’t overhauled.

Yes, I think that is what we would do! How did you know which ones were just added in?

I know that all the ones on Deck 11 & 12 are new. I also just found out a few days ago from another thread that there are a few inside staterooms on Deck 9 (9329, 9331, 9333, 9335) that are also new. I'm sure others will chime in too if I'm missing any. We booked one on Deck 11.

Not typical that cabins are renovated during Dry Docks. Older ships then Mariner still have original furniture, some going their whole life same as day they first sailed. Majesty and Sovereign only had theirs done top to bottom once in 25 yrs... Upkeep and replacement of worn items is done yr round on ships...

As a poster said want a new room get a room that was added to ship or go a a new ship... Nothing like that new cabin smell...

Was just on Mariner last week in a Junior Suite on Deck 9. The rooms were NOT renovated. As others have mentioned if you want the new style decor book the new rooms on deck 11 and 12. On my sailing the rooms on 11 were not quite finished but I was able to go take a peek at them and they look very nice. Exactly like the rooms you would find on Anthem, Harmony, or Symphony.

Does anyone know if the newly renovated Mariner still has an adult only Solarium pool or does the Solarium only have misters and hot tubs now?
She has and always will have a pool in solarium.

You can see it in the thread with all the Mariner pics from a few weeks ago.

New furniture in there.
