Ok, here is how we are going to play this thread.

Question: What are the three “must do” things on your first EPIC cruise?

I suspect the first thing I'll do is get lost! But in a good way. ;)

Nothing since I do not plan to cruise on Epic. It is too big for me.

All my cruises have been Epic .:D

The first thing I always do on any cruise is order the tropical drink of the day. Then I relax and thank god I'm on vacation.

1: Tear up lists and go on vacation

2: ...

3: profit.

1. Find the ice cream machine.

2. Get my picture taken with Spongebob.

3. See the Blue Man Group show.

#1 Hog the water slides away from all the screaming kids

#2 Continually cut the buffet line over and over again just to hear the complaints

1. Watch my daughters as they see the ship for the first time (they've never been on a cruise). Love watching things through their eyes.

2. Finding out they carry Cruzan rum on board :) (a girl can hope)

3. The waterslides. Can't wait!

So far there might be a 3-way tie for the free cruise. Loving the responses. Let's hear some more. Please keep the the rules in mind and no opinions, just some fun light reading.

1) Claim my poolside chaise lounge chair.

1. Steal a faux fur coat (animal activists this means fake). Have a drink in the Ice Bar so no one notices that I am stealing it (at least as long as it takes me to drink something cold).

2. Find a nice guy to pluge with me. He must be between 55-60 years old.

3. Get the Pool Butler to bring me something cool with no cals in it, be sweet with no sugar and have alocohol in it.

1. Remember that my 4 grandparents did this in steerage and great fear so I could luxuriate 100 years later.

2. Be thankful for the health and wealth that makes it possible and not forget most of the world's population that has so much less.

3. Adore and love my dh who has given me decades or happiness as we walk every inch of the ship hand in hand.
