Jareds_mommytoo Posted February 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2018 I read there is coffee and tea always available and juice at breakfast lunch and dinner, but what is there that is kids appropriate in between, our daughter doesn’t drink pop, so are we going to have to purchase the quench package for her. She would be happy with lemonade and water.

You can always bring drink mixes for your kids that can be mixed with water from your stateroom tap. Hot chocolate mix is also available in the Lido Market. Grab some cartons of milk at breakfast and keep them in your minibar for the kids during the day.
Krazy Kruizers Posted February 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2018 I see that you will be on the Veendam. What type of cabin did you book? Only the cabins with balconies and verandahs will have a mini refrigerator.
Jareds_mommytoo Posted February 18, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted February 18, 2018 We booked just a regular outside room.
Krazy Kruizers Posted February 18, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2018 You can rent a mini refrigerator from HAL -- $2 a day -- must be done via Ship Services at 1-800-541-5176. Keep in mind that it will take up space either on top of the desk or under it. With 4 people in the cabin -- you may find it cramped with a mini refrigerator in there. Jareds_mommytoo Posted February 19, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted February 19, 2018 The fridge isn’t a big deal she doesn’t drink milk either, it’s more can she get lemonade at all times or just meals.

Those individually packaged lemonade mixers would be easy to bring onboard and easy to carry around on the ship.
livetheatre Posted June 15, 2018 #9 Share Posted June 15, 2018 Interested here as well for our children on an upcoming cruise on Eurodam. Lemonade in Lido most of the time? They drink water 95% of the time but on the cruise it may be a treat to do something special. Assuming servers in MDR can get Shirley Temples for them (at a cost I would assume). cb at sea Posted June 16, 2018 #11 Share Posted June 16, 2018 There is no need for a package unless a kid needs copious amounts of soda. Lemonade, ice water, and iced tea are avail. at every eating venue...along with milk and juice during breakfast. No worries! IF someone wants a soda, buying a can now and again won't break the bank!
