Clarea Posted June 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2018 I prefer to have staterooms above and below.

cb at sea Posted June 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2018 It's a row of new cabins on deck 11. I see no issues with the location...doubt if noise will be an issue.

The only issues with noise I could possibly see is the running deck above us....

Desert Cruizers Posted June 20, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Have never been in those cabins myself, I might be concerned with the early morning noise from loungers being dragged around. The Jewel is the only Radiance Class I haven't been on yet.
Vahevala Posted June 21, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 21, 2018 You will like 1148. Stayed in 1140 last week. We discovered it had obstructed balcony by a window cleaning apparatus and poor balcony design with poor drainage. But, the other 11 balconies were fine. They are newer rooms, of good size, and a perfect location. We heard the running track above just for a few minutes two mornings. It was no big deal. We really liked the Jewel and should we travel on her again we would only choose these Deck 11 rooms (-1140).

(I suppose it couldn't be any worse than the kids running around in the cabin above me on my last cruise....) Did you feel any motion being so far up? Vahevala Posted June 21, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 21, 2018 The only time I felt motion was one evening on Deck 6 in the Casino when it was a bit rough.
