Transfer to Port Canaveral

In Dec 2017 we used Sunshine Limo. Highly recommend. They even let us schedule a 30min stop at a grocery store along the way. There were four of us, and we were picked up by a driver right after baggage claim and escorted out to his shiny new Ford Escalade.

Besides Cortrans, Cocoa Beach shuttle is the other big player for shared shuttle service between MCO and PC.

We prefer to use a one-way car rental, letting us stay where we want the night before, dine & shop where we want, and to leave for the port on our schedule. All of the car rental agencies in PC/Cocoa Beach offer shuttles to the port - even with gas and tolls the one way rental works out to be about the same as paying for shuttle service.

Post cruise, unless your flight leaves after about 2:00 I would not bother with a car rental - just shuttle to MCO.

Have a great cruise! :D

We are arriving at 2:22 pm at MCO. We have a reservation at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites Oceanfront in Cocoa Beach. When I looked at the Cortrains site, it says there last pickup is at 12:30 pm. What other transportation service would you recommend to get us from the airport to our hotel?

Beside renting a car or using Uber/Lyft, the following companies are popular choices after hours from the airport to the hotels:

Cocoa Beach Shuttle

Smart-Two

888-Transport Shuttles (not the metered taxis)

Cape Canaveral Transportation

Joe is right!

Your other option is to cancel your Cocoa Beach hotel reservation, stay near MCO (lots of hotels in every price range offering airport shuttles) and then catch Cortrans to PC the morning of your cruise.

We prefer to rent a car one way - the cost is usually about the same as a shuttle - for the convenience; we can stay, shop and dine where we want. All of the car rental agencies in PC/Cocoa Beach will shuttle you to the port after you drop off the car. It's your cruise and y our call. Good luck! :)
