Well, Being a Senior Paid Off

:D Had to post my news:D...I originally booked one of the "new windows"

on Summit for my upcoming cruise to Bermuda.

I still have this habit of checking the website for prices and stuff.....

well, in this case I am glad I did;).....they have quite a few balconies

that are the same price as I paid for my window:)....so I was able

to move to a balcony for nothing:D....even swap. They are 2Bs.

Yes, I know those windows are supposed to be really nice and those

cabins are newer but to have the balcony for nothing? I guess now

that I am 55.....that Senior Discount paid off:D! SWEET!!!!!!

I will be in 8146...looks like the balcony is even a bit larger too!

Couldn't happen to a nicer person. Congrats on the upgrade. Smiling for you. Pat

Ain't it great being a "oldie" but "goodie" ?? Those pink sands of Bermuda are looking better...and closer...everyday...and now you can enjoy viewing them from the balcony !!

Glad you got an upgrade. In spite of all the folks who keep posting that it doesn't happen. We did it twice on our last cruise. But it doesn't happen.

Funny thing is, this is the 2nd time I had booked one of those newer

oceanviews and both times I have upgraded to a balcony LOL......

not sure when I will get to one of those windows;)

It will be nice sitting on the balcony though:D

or just certain special sailings?? I happened to be on the website of one of the major TA's to check pricing and saw for my Asian Cruise next april that there was a senior discount. My TA got it for me and it was $500 pp!!!!

Is the senior discount posted on X's wwebsite? Is it for all sailings or only designated sailings.
