Question about OBC

Was wondering if we can use non-refundable OBC we received during a promotion sale to pay for gratuities. Does anyone know if any OBC can be used to pay for daily gratuities. Trying to plan out our cruise and looking to see what I should pre pay and what I should use OBC for. I like to end cruise with no charges on the credit card, or keep at a minimum.

OBC will be used for gratuities, shore excursions, shipboard charges, drinks, etc. It will be used up daily with each day's expenses deducted from the OBC until it is used up.

You don't specifically designate how you spend OBC. OBC is just a credit in a simple credit & debit system.

Your OBC's will be shown as a credits in your on board account. Each day your hotel gratuities and any other on board expenses will be added to your account. Your account will have a running net balance.

There are non refundable and refundable OBC - they will use the non first for any and all expenditures

Princess is great at using Refundable OBC first. But be careful when you return something, such as dinner in a speciality restaurant. You won't get the cash returned. It's confusing.

The OBC is used for anything thing you charge to your room account.

I remember reading somewhere along time ago about using OBC in the casino. I will have a large amount of OBC on my next cruise and I was wondering if I can use some of it for spending in the casino.

s I mentioned Princess will deduct the non-refundable for any purchases incl sp rest and casino - at one time you could get an advance of cash on your card from your account in the casino, use some, then cash it in for cash??

We always use OBC in the casino - just charge the money to your shipboard account from a slot machine and it is deducted from your OBC .
