Details Posted October 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2016 Thinking of booking a mini suite for a Panama cruise in January. Any advantage in choosing one of these two decks? Thanks in advance.
beg3yrs Posted October 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2016 The Coral Princess has some pretty unique features of various balconies. Take a look at this link for all the details and then make your own decision! BTW, we had B222, a mini-suite, and loved it. http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/Princess/odell/res76zxu/princessbalconies/id7.html
Rare taxatty Posted October 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2016 Main issue is whether you want a covered, partially covered or uncovered balcony as shown on the pages available through the above link. We like the aft Caribe minis which are partially covered. It can get very hot on that cruise on an uncovered balcony.
Cairn Mom Posted October 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2016 We had a mid- ship mini on Dolphin for that cruise. Personal preference, we cared more about the location than whether or not the balcony was covered. Sent from my iPad using Forums
diane.in.ny Posted October 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 27, 2016 We like the Caribe deck because of the partially covered balcony. Have sailed several times on the Coral and her sister the Island and always pick the Caribe deck
BopRN Posted October 27, 2016 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2016 We just got off the Coral last Wed. We were in D705, Dolphin mini-suite. Loved it! Very quiet. Had a covered balcony and I would really recommend that. We were able to sit on it in all weather...had a couple times of rain showers but we were completely covered. Also depending which direction we were sailing, it kept the sun off of us. Even when part of the balcony was sunny, there was always part that had shade.
