I've used romashuttle for a shared shuttle ride a couple of times and have used them to arrange transportation for other family members. Everything went as expected -- no problems. A shared ride means the van may stop to pick up others so allow enough time in your planning. The actual transport time from Rome to Civitavecchia is a bit more than an hour in normal conditions.

The cost is 70 euro per couple. I didn't pay in advance, not sure if it's an option, but why pay before service is rendered?

Rome in LImo; direct hotel to port service. Plus if needed, tour service in Rome and Florence. I would never pay in advance unless just a deposit was required.

We used Rome Limousines and it was 85 Euros for 3 people for a shared shuttle. We picked up 2 other couples in Rome and we arrived in a timely manner.  I do not know the rate for 2 adults. The driver showed up early at our hotel.

We recently used Civitavecchia Cab Service for a shared shuttle from Rome hotel to the port.  We would not recommend them.  Driver was 50 minutes late collecting us and we were the first!  He then made another two collections. 

Previously we used Stefano's Rome Cabs for a private transfer and we also organised a shared shuttle through them.  We had to arrange the sharing ourselves via the roll call.  Would recommend Stefano's Rome Cabs!
