HarlowsDad Posted June 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2017 I'm embarking on the Equinox on June 11th. This is a family cruise and a member of my group is absolutely in love with the Quarter Pusher casino machines. The slot machine type game where you drop in a quarter and hope it pushes additional quarters, or dollars, over the edge. I've read conflicting reports about the Quarter Pusher being on the Equinox and if someone who has sailed recently knows if they are currently in the casino, I'd really appreciate it. The Equinox casino had them at both entrances in May. I doubt they were removed since then Sent from my iPad using Forums

tbugstwo Posted June 4, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 4, 2017 Yep, they are still there - gobbling up quarters as fast as you shove them in the slot. Tell us, have you ever come out a big winner on a quarter pusher?
marshabear Posted June 4, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 4, 2017 the Eclipse has them too-in case anyone was wondering! Marsha
HarlowsDad Posted June 5, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted June 5, 2017 I've never come out a big winner before but did get a $20 to drop one time. It certainly slowed my losses for the night. However, I've never seen the waterfall of quarters come down like one would expect.

My father loves them as well. I am sure every casino casino has them as there are the biggest money pits you could play. miched Posted October 12, 2017 #10 Share Posted October 12, 2017 The best time to play them is when the seas are very rough. You just need to be able to get in sync with the rocking motion of the ship. 🤔🤑 Happy cruising 🌊🛳🇺🇸🌅
mafig Posted October 12, 2017 #11 Share Posted October 12, 2017 I've looked at them when the casino was closed and the seas were rough. So you would think there would be something in the tray because of the movement, wouldn't you? I never saw anything. If you look closely the tray tips up just before it's supposed to drop into the tray below.
