Norwegian Sky Cabin Upgrade

Sailing at the end of the month on our first cruise and booked through an agency. I am reading about very affordable cabin upgrade options. When do those offers go out? What is that process? Thank you!

There's two ways to upgrade your cabin that i know of. 1. By invite only they could send you an email where you can bid on an upgrade - but no invite and no bidding. 2. If you check today's prices for cabins you can pay the difference between today's price and what you paid to upgrade. So if you paid $349 pp for an inside and now the oceanview is $379 pp you could pay $30 pp to upgrade. You would contact your agent to do that.

I was wondering this as welll. Also, how far in advance do they offer the upgrade and what is the cut off time before the sail date?

The challenge of jumping on an old thread is that it causes confusion over what was happening a long time ago and what is happening today.

Somewhere here it was stated that if you booked with a couple different big online agencies they don't pass on the upgrade offer to you. What date is your cruise? I'm booked end of April.

I bid today on the Sky

I feel it doesn't make sense that the required amount to bid for an upgrade on the 4 day sailing is the same as required on a 7 day sailing. $50 pp to upgrade from OV to Balcony on both.

Especially when you are solo.

We are booked for the end of April too! April 27th! We also put in offers for upgrades to suites and hope we get one. Happy sailing! I’ll be the tattooed lady walking around :)

Anyone get an update yet for this weekends cruise?
