6PM NY gem Depart?

I'm sailing on Gem 10/31 out of NY, 6PM departure which is a bit different than their usual 4PM, so anyway, what is earliest to board ship?

Boarding should begin as soon as the ship is cleared (11:30 ish).

wtih a 4pm sail away, usually boarding starts at 1130ish. so id plan for about 1 or 130 for a 6pm departure, keeping in mind suites, ambassadors, plat plusses, plats and CAS will all board first.

OP, the same question was asked about the Nov 11th cruise. Someone posted there they thought boarding time would not be affected by the later departure time. Call NCL and ask is your best bet. Please let us know.

I imagine NCL would have standard line, all pax must be onboard 2 hours before depart, just looking for a "been there, real world" answer.

Boarding is unaffected. Once they get to a zero count, they will start boarding suites and priority passengers. General boarding around 11:30.

we were out of San Juan last year with a late departure time (9 or 11 or something), and boarding still began around 11 or 11:30.
