Pre Registration

I am looking at pre registering for Northern Lights for March 2020, going though the process on the website it only gives the option of OBC not parking. Am I missing something?

What sort of cabin are you looking at. Maybe amount of obc allocated to some cabin types is insufficient to cover the cost of parking?

No it’s one or the other, cost of either is included.

I might see you on the Aurora then, as I too have preregistered for that cruise. I too was only offered OBC, but since I'm a non-driver OBC was what I wanted anyway. As it was only £50 (I'm a single traveller), the poster who has suggested it might be that it wouldn't be enough to cover the cost of parking could well be correct.

I checked the cost of parking for similar cruise for next year and it was £140 against obc of £80! That’s why I wanted the parking!

Pre-register with one of the well known specialist cruise TAs they will sort parking out no problem you can give them a few cabin numbers you would be happy to book, you cannot booking direct with P&O online or by phone and finally it will be cheaper not a lot but it will buy you a few drinks while onboard.

I had the mini-brochure for the new batch of cruises drop onto my doormat this morning. Regarding Select Price benefits it says on page 4, "Choice of on-board spending money, return coach travel to Southampton or car parking", followed by a footnote: "Choice of benefits dependent on cruise type, duration and time of booking. Select Price benefit of on-board spending money can be swapped at time of booking for another Select Price benefit of car parking or return coach travel."

So I suggest ringing up and asking if you can swap.

I think I will wait till next Wednesday and just book then, I have asked a few of the well know TA’s for prices and it comes out cheaper to use top cash back and book direct
