Hair Dryer on Reflection

Hi

My husband and I will be sailing on Celebrity Reflection. This will be our first Celebrity cruise.

Are hair dryers provided in the cabin?

Since we both overpack, if I can leave the hair dryer home, that’s one less thing to bring.

They are provided, but not very good. My wife always brings her own as she says the ones provided are inadequate.

I must say Reflection has one of the better designed bathrooms with lots of storage space. Liked the over the bed storage units too

I should have asked that too, if they are any good.

Same issue on Royal Caribbean, there is a hair dryer but I bring my own since it isn’t that great.

The ship's hair dryer requires that you continually hold the button down for it to work. You don't just turn it on. Some people state that they bring a heavy rubber band or velcro strip to hold the button down. I have never tried that. I just bring my own hair dryer.

I did not like them at all. I have shoulder length hair and it took a long time. I then bought a travel one and used that on our next cruise. I travel with just carry ons and it def comes with me from now on

The provided dryers suck...I always bring my own. Unless you have short, thin hair, it won't BLOW to style hair. It gets hot, but doesn't blow worth a damn, and that's the whole point of BLOW DRYING!

Yes, definitely bring your own if you blow dry your hair. I have tried several adaptations to no avail. I am a notorious over packer, but I will give up several pairs of shoes for my hair dryer and flat iron!
