Jumbo-tron on The Lawn?

Besides sailing on Easter Sunday - which I didn't even realize - the royal wedding of Will and Kate will be during our cruise!!!:(

Do you think the Solstice will have a large screen for all to watch? It could be on the lawn - we could make use of our formal wear again! :D

I don't think this request is any different from sports requests.

On the lawn or elsewhere aboard any Celebrity ship that I've seen...

I suppose it's possible that it will be made available in a common area [ie; theater] if they can secure a satellite feed but I can't imagine it being a major draw before dawn...

A lot of other cruise lines are carrying it live. Princess is having it on Movies Under The Stars, and other lines are carrying it in their theaters. I'd be surprised if Celebrity did nothing

Says live, but some timezones maybe delayed, so I guess it depends on where you are in the world

The day Celebrity puts a jumbo screen on the lawn or anywhere else we Will be looking for a new cruise line.We cruise Celebrity because they don't have MUTS.Maybe they will screen it in the theatre for those that want to watch it.

If any of the major news networks (CNN) are covering it live, it might be available to watch on the TV in your stateroom.

This post was made mostly in jest. I can't imagine giving up any of my cruise time to stay in front of a screen - but if I were home - I'd be there for it all.

It's a Princess thing... Movies Under The Stars...

Well, as far as I'm concerned, if those two didn't see fit to invite me to the ceremony, I'm not going to be a second class citizen and watch it at 6 AM on the TV. Maybe my invitation got lost in the mail!;)

on a recent Solstice cruise, Celebrity did have a portable screen that was set up by the pool one late afternoon that showed a movie. It was an inflatable screen, only saw it one day, after 4 or 5 PM.
