Yoggi Posted December 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2016 Good day people.....wondering if anyone has recently been on Rhapsody and in the casino. I am traveling on her in January and wanted to know what the table minimums are, specifically on the Craps table? I normally cruise with Carnival and the minimum is $5.00. If anyone has additional info regarding other table games, please do tell. Looking forward to everyone's input.

One was $5 and one was $10. Can't tell you what the Vision Class casinos are like though.
utopiahereicome Posted December 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2017 Was on Rhapsody in Nov, and there was no craps table - very disappointed as that’s my game of choice. :( On Allure this past summer the minimum was $10.
sgregel Posted February 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2018 I am curious too - about the casino in general. Any replies from serious casino goers very appreciated !(I am in the casino each night) I am looking for comments from serious casino goers, also. How big is the casino? What are the table minimums? I play blackjack, 3 card poker, ultimate Texas Hold'em. Do they have a good variety of slots? I've heard comments about excessive cigarette smoke. Your thoughts? VacationReady29 Posted February 15, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Casino is not very big (on rhapsody now). Husband is big blackjack and Texas Holdem player. First couple of nights not enough players for Texas holdem tournament. A couple of nights $3 blackjack tables but otherwise $10 minimum. They have probably <100 slot machines. Pretty smoky the first night but a little better afterwards as I think people found other smoking areas. We’ve gone in during the day and evening up until midnight. It’s been acceptable enough for my husband and he loves going to the casino any chance he can get.
klfrodo Posted February 15, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2018 I was on the Rhapsody a couple of years ago and there was no craps table. Double check the denomination when playing the slots. My wife usually played max bet on the Penney slots. On one machine, she played 300 credits. Wasn’t paying attention. 5 or 6 spins in, she hit for a required cash payout. Attendant came over, then more came over, everyone being very very nice. She was confused until someone pointed out that the denomination was on 10 cents a credit. She was playing $30 a spin:o

Rare Rewind Posted February 15, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 15, 2018 No craps table on Rhapsody?!?! I might have to rethink my upcoming cruise. ... Maybe I can just bring my own dice.

rt1092 Posted February 15, 2018 #11 Share Posted February 15, 2018 I believe most ships do away with the crap table when they head to Europe. Then put it back here in the USA. They might not get to it right away. The table limits are flexible, they adjust them according to the passengers on board. I've been on B2B's that have a $6 minimum Blackjack table on one leg of the cruise then the next leg will be $10 for the lowest tables. Also sometimes they run super low limits $3 early in the day. I feel they adjust the payouts on the machines also. One cruise X machine will be hot, next cruise you can win anything on it.
klfrodo Posted February 15, 2018 #12 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Wow. How much did she win? $2700 Being a US Citizen, any single payout of more than $1199 requires a 1099G and reporting to the IRS.
