Does anyone know how much the drinks of the day cost?

Bloody Mary’s, Screwdrivers, and Mimosas were on special at the Bow and Stern from 10:00 to noon every day for $8.00. Mimosas were $2.00 at the casino bar from noon till 1:00 most days.

We didn’t have any drink of the day specials, but I would guess they were around the $8 figure.

Of course, you have to add the 18% service charge to all of these.

also, do you know what days the MDR has the “chocolate” breakfast theme?

Any info about the chocolate themed breakfasts in the MDR?

The menu below - is this the chocolate themed breakfast I keep reading about? If so, I found it on Page 8, Post 149 of this thread. If all the photos were posted in order (except for the Day 4 Cruise Compass), then it looks like this is on Day 7.

I found the staff surprisingly diligent about enforcing the 30 minute rule. We left to get something in the Windjammer and then my mother caught me to tell me something. I was gone 35 minutes and my stuff had been taken up. One other time, I was gone just under 25 minutes and when I came back, they were making rounds. With that many passengers, I think they try to be more diligent.

The options for First Night Done Right Dining we’re limited. This was not what the phone reservation agent said when we called to ask.

It seems that many times when calling Royal Caribbean, the people we speak to don't know what's going on. My understanding is that on Allure to use the FNDR it has to be Samba or Giovanni's. If another restaurants is chosen, ie Chops, the FNDR price is refunded and you will pay 50% of the going rate for that restaurant.

I have to say this is what I have read, not that I have tried as we book a night package so the rules are different.

That is exactly what we were offered.

Actually, since we were told it was good for any specialty restaurant, we went to the dining reservation desk on embarkation. The agent there said that the FNDR could be used at CP150 and booked us a table. When we showed up at the restaurant, we got the 50% off story. We told the hostess that (1) we were told by the telephone reservation agent that it was valid at CP150 and (2) that the dining reservations agent said it was valid at CP150 and made the reservation. After a bit of back-n-forth, the hostess agreed to honor the FNDR and seated us. So, CP150 for $20 each.

Thank you so much for your review. I loved seeing the pictures of your meal choices. I am going to try some menu items that I never would have thought about choosing. I have learned so much from your cruise review. We are on the June 3rd sailing and I am so excited to take my 9 year old grandson on his first cruise.

Being on a large floating resort with all of the Dreamwork characters would be magical for a 9 year old. Have a wonderful cruise!
