Just checked under my VIFP offers---Carnival is again offering the pay $100 for an interior room and get a $100 OBC for select cruises through the end of January!! You can upgrade to a balcony for a few bucks more.

Gotta see if I can find a Jan cruise to jump on.

I am really trying to get myself on one... I have a family trip in December already, this one may be hard to get on. I have been able to do the last 2 free offers I received, just not sure if I can make this one.

But I REALLY REALLY wish I could.

Which one did you go with? If I can swing it, I am looking at the Freedom in mid jan

They are usually from the casino --I have gotten the offers 3 times in the last year or so. Not sure if everyone gets them every time or what the criteria is. I look under my VIFP offers at least once per week. Funny thing is, I did the offer on my July Breeze cruise--I hardly gambled and still won over $3000 that I walked off the ship with (a $2000 pull tab winner and a bit over a $1000 jackpot on some slot machine winner). I think I actually spent about 300 bucks total for 8 days in the casino.

Bummer - I just looked and neither DH nor I got the offer.

We got the last one but were unable to take advantage of it.

My in-laws did get this offer, though. They probably won't use it. I did a mock booking and it only showed $30 OBC - I'm guessing it's different on each sailing?

Ok, so I put a lido balcony room on hold for 24 hours for the jan 18th sailing. I am really gonna try to work this out--it would be $460 total for my daughter and I taxes and all. The flights are really cheap too. I would have to really watch my on board spending, but I would have 100 OBC.

We will see in 24 hours if I confirm--I only have to do $50 deposit for now too--final payment would be due 11/4 for the remaining $410.

Booked Freedom for Jan 10. Was looking at Premier cruise but did this instead. $1200 cheaper then Premier. Whoo hoo

It's a real serious offer. Some day you might regret if you decline and later see rates double that. Even with on board spending curtailed, you will always remember time together doing a favorite thing;)

8 night cruises for $50. Can't beat it

Its a 7 day to san juan, grand turk and st marten. The other 2 times I had this almost free offer, the cruises I took were within 3 weeks of booking, so I had to pay in full right away.

Since this cruise is over 3 months off, I can do a $50 deposit and pay the remaining $400 by Nov 4th. I think I am gonna do it. I will sleep on it and decide by tomorrow afternoon.

Go for it if you can. The only thing holding me back is the travel. We'd have to drive down to Port Canaveral for the closest cruise in January. So hotel and gas on top of it, just after Christmas and before tax refunds. If they put something out of New York, I'd jump on it so fast. It figures my first offer and not looking good.

Pack and Go rate for Conquest, 7 nights, 10/19 sail date = $50. Taxes and port charges are $127. A single can sail for $177.

Guess I would have to go into the casino once in a while, not surprised I don't get any offers.

Where do I look for these offers? We are platinum, VIPF and spend TONS of $ in the casino on each cruise. DH thinks I am telling tall tales when I am telling him about the offers some of you are receiving! :p

This is my 1st offer, the wife and I never spent more that $250 in the casino a week. We are platinum 14 cruises. So not sure who carnival is targeting with these promos.

When the casino offer loads, the cruise offers never opens, like it's stuck in a loop. Same in IE, Mozilla & Chrome, on desktop & laptop. Is any one else having these problems. Would like to see the offers.
