LAX Flight time???

I am looking at a 12:15 flight out of LAX would this time work coming from Long Beach?

Traffic, though it can be all over the place in LA, is NOT the major concern. You are 23 miles from LAX...It's going to take a half an hour without traffic...With height of rush hour traffic, maybe up to an hour. If there's a major accident or a road closure, there are PLENTY of alternate routes...your driver will know where to go...

The biggest variable isn't the drive...it's getting off the ship and making your way through whatever lines there are. Getting off a Carnival ship in Long Beach can be tough...depends on the ship getting cleared and how slow the customs people process folks through. Just be patient. Make sure you don't have too late a disembarkation time, check in to your flight via internet...wheel your own luggage off the ship...

LAX tells you to get to the airport two hours before your flight...but, seriously, I fly out of there a lot and have NEVER needed anywhere near that much time...
