Does Celebrity have anything like RCL wow Tuesdays?

Looking at the TA on the Equinox next spring. Never sailed Celebrity before, but we are on the Millie this Oct. Does Celebrity ever have specials where your deposit is less? Or any other advice you can give me?

Thanks

They do have the "WOW Tuesday." Bookmark this link. Sometimes you get good last-minute deals, and sometimes you don't.

If you can wait until October, you should be able to book your Celebrity cruise on your RCI ship. We did that while on Celebrity last week. Booked our RCI cruise and the deposit was reduced to $100 and we got an OBC of $100. Evidently, the Next Cruise department does not care if you book Celebrity, Royal or Azamara. Right pocket, left pocket or back pocket.. it's all the same "pants".

Last April, when we booked our Infinity cruise, the Celebrity website had a "sale" whereby the deposit was reduced and we got a $200 OBC for our CC cabin. I'm not sure if this is a recurring sale (like WOW) or just a way for Celebrity to move some cabins.

I am also not sure if the $200 OBC was a fluke for that particular sale or OBCs are larger for web based sales. I was hoping for more than $100, but decided against waiting since we're traveling during the summer months and had specific needs re: cabin choice.

This link is for the xciting Deals which is usually offered every Tuesday. It is usually for last minute cruises (selling the unsold cabins) and if you book one, you may have to pay in full at the time of booking as it is usually past final payment date for that cruise.

Celebrity does sometimes offer a sale similar to the WOW sale that has reduced deposits and onboard credits for certain cruises. There were several of those this past year.

I wouldn't wait too long to book a cruise that I really want. Once when we were sailing in 6 weeks, we decided to do a new cruise, so we decided to wait to book that new cruise onboard. Bad mistake - in those 6 weeks, the cost of the cruise went up more than the onboard credit you got from booking onboard.
