Mescaline or Dramamine on HAL

Yes - "Sea Calm" Meclizine. You can get it one or two packets at a time by standing in line at the front desk, or several at a time at the infirmary. I know at least some ships just have it in bins there, and you can walk in and take what you would like.

In the infirmary, the same is true for aspirin, acetaminophen, and Band-Aids. :)

I hear that you can get some on board for free. Last time I had to pay alot before we took our last trip. :D Do they realy give this away for free........

I was able to get a packet of 6 dramamine from the nurse on the Oosterdam May 2008. They were free and no charge on our account at the end of the cruise.

I did discover Sea Bands work better for hubby before our next cruise this past May. Dramamine caused him to become very drowsy. From what I understand though reading other posts regarding the specific medications you mentioned, those do not cause drowsiness.

Dramamine is also sold OTC in generic form at many stores. It costs $2.69 for 24 (or 12 doses) at my local grocer. I would suggest purchasing ahead of time and bringing it with you. After all, you don't want to get sick and then need to go find relief. Better to have it with you!

I think you should request, no you should DEMAND, mescaline.
You had to go and spoil it. I was hoping everyone would follow my lead and pretend this was a legitimate question for a change. :( Oh, well, at least some newbies may have gotten some useful info here anyway. :)

Sorry jtl513, I just couldn't stop grinning at the image of some goof standing at the front desk saying "Cruise Critic says I can get mescaline free of charge and I want it NOW" and then ship security coming and putting the person in the brig, and escorting the person off the ship at the next port.

C'mon jtl513 -- think about that image -- doesn't it make you smile? :D I know it has set me up for the day :)

It could be "twisted" into reality. (sorry John);)

I would be legal for HAL to distribute mescaline (in peyote form) under US law.

All HAL would have to do is register to distribute it, and the recipient would have to be a member of the Native American Church.

It's true, here's the source from the dept of Justice, first page, sec 1307.31

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a church to go join.;):)

Mark....

Mescaline... hahahahahahaha I needed that!!!! :D

Ginger in all forms has been shown (even on MythBusters!) to ease/prevent nausea. It and motioneaze together have worked great for me!

Last time I took mescaline I started hallucinating and it was really intense.

I could have sworn I saw three luggage tag threads and four tray threads:eek:
