Tendering???

Its been awhile since I have been on an NCL cruise. How do they handle the tendering nowadays? Do you have to get a ticket, just line up, or......?

Generally the earliest tenders require a ticket, and then after the initial rush of passengers has left the ship an announcement will be made that tickets are not required for the remainder of the day.

In addition, those with ship's excursions will be sheparded off first priority as well... much to the chagrin of the stairwell occupants who seem to line up hours early.

Those with suites or VIP status (Gold and Platinum level latitudes) may also be escorted off on the first tender as well if they choose to take advantage of their status.
