Glory will be switching her itinerary in November I believe from Eastern to Western.

 Shes does both right now, alternating weekly. Is this to change to Western Caribbean only? I do know that she will be sailing from Miami within the next few months.

The Glory just didn't do it for me. I wasn't very impressed with the ship or decor. It was probably my least favorite besides the Celebration..

How can say that after being on the Miracle with the biggest, ugliest grapes ever?lol

I thought the Glory was a beautiful and most colorful ship. I've sailed on her 3x. I'm looking forward to the Liberty so I can compare ships as the Glory and Liberty are in the same class. Try the Legend! Lots of urns on that one. :D

We also leave on the Glory this Sat!!! Only 2 1/2 days til we leave the house!! Can't wait, Glad to see you had such a good time!!!:D

We will be in Cocoa Beach this weekend, and I am hoping to be in Jetty Park when she goes to sea taking some pictures. We are going to stay in the Radisson this weekend, and I am sure that this will really get our cruise excitement to the next level.

I'm SOOOOOOOO happy to read this. I will be sailing on the Glory this coming saturday. It's pretty much my first cruise (the first one was on Carnival 19 years ago, so I don't count this).

It's hard to read some of the reviews because people always have bad things to say sometimes so it's nice to hear soemthing good for a change.

Can I ask what cabin you had? What about the pools? I heard they were VERY tiny.

I'm just back from the Glory also and second the great things posted abov. I didn't meet a crew member who didn't smile and say Good morning, loved my steward and the ship.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the Glory. I thought she was lovely. I have to say I am from Las Vegas so perhaps I'm used to extremes but I thought the Glory was rather restrainted (colorful yes) but nice, kind of like a old fashioned hotel/casino in a nice way.

The pools are fairly small, lots and lots of chairs, tables and deck space but not alot of swimming room.

Yes, she's going to Miami (I believe our sailing , 11/29, may be the first one out of Miami?) and then they switched up the Western route (I belive they still do alternate between Eastern/Western every other week) just rearranging the port order (due to port congestion in Belize).

I kept getting stuck going through the dining room to get where I was going or ending up in hallways with nowhere to go but up or down!

We had Buth, the best CD ever! Ya! Who was your CD?

His name was James (not Wee Jimmy). A young British gent, I beleive. In my opinion, he was so-so.

My wife and I just finished this same cruise. I completely agree with the praise for Glory ship and crew. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! Our dining room staff, Viktor and Joel were exceptional. They were very funny.

One evening my wife was cold and had her arms wrapped around her trying to get warm. Viktor saw her, asked her if she was cold, then snapped his finger and said, "Joel, your coat". Joel unbuttoned his coat and wrapped it around my wife. My wife was saying it was not necessary but Viktor then asked if she needed Joel's shirt too. Joel started to unbutton his shirt. We were both laughing at this display and gave Joel his coat back and continued the evening meal.

Another time we sitting down for lunch in the Red Sail Restaurant. Viktor saw me getting water for us at the drink station. He asked where we were sitting and told me to go sit down. He then appeared at our table with drinks in hand saying he would be serving us this afternoon. My wife got a kick at having our personal waiter during the lunch buffet.

We enjoyed ourselves so much, we have already started looking at what cruise we are taking next year. I can tell you for sure that it will be on a Carnival ship.

We were on this cruise { Glory sept 26th} our first time on a carnival ship. We enjoyed the cruise and felt the shows were superior to those on our usual cruise line.

IGede was our superb cabin steward, hard working and so pleasant.

Can't wait to cruise again on the Glory{ perhaps I will find my way around easier the second time.}

Thank you so much for posting! DH & I are on Glory 3/23/10 and I'm soaking up every bit of information about her I can!

This will be our 2nd cruise, but the first on Carnival. I've read very conflicting reviews about Glory and it's nice to see such positive thoughts.

You will be on her shortly after drydock, yes? In my eyes, I saw nothing that would warrant a major makeover of the ship. I but I bet she will be even more amazing post drydock!!!

I posted a similar message elsewhere for you, but had to make sure you saw how much we loved your pictures. Yes, we were the 2 ladies in the front of the van in St Martins. We work together -I'm widowed and Karen's husband hates to travel. Today we spent our lunch hour relooking at your photos. It was Karen's 1st cruise and my 10 + (lost count) and I think it was one of the best. (would have been better if I wasn't recovering from leg injury-limited my ability to get around). Did you notice all the new mattresses they were piling up at the dock as we disembarked? Must be getting a headstart on the refurbishing. I would go back on the Glory in a heart beat. Again, thank you for sharing all those wonderful pictures with us. Oh yeah..... that rum punch really did have a kick to it!!

Enjoyed your pictures so much. We will be sailing on the Glory next month.

I have a question, since we no longer have the tickets mailed to us, I was wondering what we show to go into the terminal building. There was always a Carnival Rep standing and would look at your ticket to tell you to go to the VIP line or the other line, so what do you show now? Sorta dumb question but was wondering.

Thank you.
