Stopped for a drink in Central Park while touring Oasis on the 11/27 PI. Ship is amazing. Impossible to truly describe with pics and word. She's giant, but beautiful and well-done. First class experience from RCI. It's not exactly cruising, but she's Definitely an engineering marvel.

So much to go see...

Spa area is huge. Gym is well-equipped, but dimly lit and a bit of a dungeon. Boardwalk cabin is very nice - larger than I thought it would be, and very cool how it opens out to the BW.

Time to muster....

Quick Question about the arcade...

Could you give us an idea of what games are free at this point? (I won't be surprised if you have to pay once the paying customers are on)

Also in the arcade can you tell me if there is a millipide game in the arcade (missed it on Explorer :()

Also could you find out if the comedy show is family friendly?

Thanks for all of your answers!

Just testing the in-room internet - it's so nice. No woner they don't have an internet cafe - completely unnecessary. You just access the intenet from your stateroom on the TV using a keyboard. The screen is huge and today the response time is awesome. There's aloso a wifi option if you bing your laptop.

Having a blast on Oasis. Never had so much fun on a cruise ship. The ice show was prety good (skating was just fine), ABBA tribute band was AWESOME, and the 70s Dance Party (which I've never beento in all my cruises) was totally fun on the RP.

I may never see the ocean, but Oasis is a great time.

really looking forward to tonight's Aquatheatre show.

Time for rock-climbing and zipline.

Are the keyboards in each cabin?

Patrick happy to hear you like the BW cabin. I am booked in one B2B in October. If you are close to the aft section do you have a good view to the ocean looking aft.

Well, sadly, our lovely PI has ended. Now in the FLL airport for a 9am flight. Will answer questions and provide more details later. Quick impressions for now:

> the ship is amazing. Totally delivers an incredible, one of a kind experience.

> aqua theatre will be very cool, once they get the kinks worked out. Lots of logistical and technical issues. Would not be surprised if they are unable to do the show the first few cruises

> rock wall is outstanding. Much higher than other ships. I did the blue and red paths.

> shops actually have some nice stuff for once. Great Breitling watch selection, for example. Coach store is nicely stocked. Other stores have a good variety of things, even if they are a little pricey (example - retro tshirts for $28).

Sorry for the short posts - on an iPhone and don't want to lose what Ive typed...

> Casino is huge. Unfortunately, they allow smoking. Lots of machines, not as many tables as I expected. They have automated blackjack, roulette. Also have a sports book, with betting on horses and Euro soccer.

> Concierge lounge is very nice. Decent size, good view of the BW. Not sure how well the whole breakfast / lunch thing will work in there - tables are an odd height, space could be cramped. We'll see. Lunch menu looks nice though. Two Internet stations in the lounge.

> Dazzles is a few decks down from the CL with a similar view. Two story bar, nice space, live music.

> Champagne n Schooner Bars. They still exist, but really in name only. I find them to be very generic. Schooner bar still has the gunpowder smell though. =)

> Boardwalk. Let's talk about the BW. First, as a neighborhood, it's great. Love the idea, concept is well executed. Nice mix of attractions, shops and food. JRs is a decent size with outdoor dining. Seafood shack looks like a nice new addition. Will likely be popular. Menu obviously focuses on fish and looks good. I think they hand out beepers when there's a wait. Ice cream shop is good, supposedly made onboard. No Ben n jerrys affiliation. Theyoffer a variety of mix-ins, which is nice. Donut shop is handy for a snack n coffee. Quality is average, but lots of specialty flavors. I liked the rip-off Build a Bear store - think that's a great idea.
