Ravenscroft Posted April 24, 2012 #576 Share Posted April 24, 2012 My husband and I are planning to sail on the Silver Spirit for the 2013 Christmas New Year’s cruise in the Caribbean for my birthday. Since this will be our 1st Silverseas cruise, we were wondering which Silver Suite to book. Janine Hi Janine, I can't advise you on the Silver Suites as I've never stayed in one, they are all on Decks 10 and 11 on the Spirit as you will know, and I need midship lower deck suite. But I just wanted to say that my husband and I were on the Silver Spirit 14 day Caribbean cruise Christmas/New Year 2011 and it was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay on board for another 7 days. I was ready to book there and then for the same cruise this year but my husband wanted something different and longer than 14 days. I wouldn't be surprised if we dont find ourselves joining you on the 2013 cruise though. Fingers crossed! :D
CocoC Posted April 25, 2012 #577 Share Posted April 25, 2012 Thanks Ravenscroft for your lovely thoughts. What were the best things about the cruise? Were there any excursions that you would recommend? I realise that it's too early to book excursions - but am just wanting to plan ahead.
