TomN Jess Posted February 10, 2010 #77 Share Posted February 10, 2010 Did any of you who ordered over the phone receive a receipt? I just ordered a bottle of Captain Morgan for my upcoming cruise and I forgot to ask for a receipt specifically. I could always call them back, but thought I'd check here. I had them email me one and I had it before I got off the phone with them.
F22Smitty Posted February 10, 2010 #78 Share Posted February 10, 2010 I got 24 coming to my room. Doesnt matter how many the price is cheaper than on the ship anyway. Now if they would have them iced down and cold when I get to my room, I would be all over it. I think they need to supply a case cooler in the room.:D
lweeizie1 Posted February 10, 2010 #79 Share Posted February 10, 2010 I like rum, just the well rum though, I know, I'm wierd, don't like the top shelf, does anyone know if they sell the cheap stuff?
jtdlmc Posted February 10, 2010 #80 Share Posted February 10, 2010 I've still got a year to go, but since they are $4.75 through Bon Voyage and others are saying they are now charging $5.75 on some of the ships, I guess I'll give them a call and see if I can buy a case this far out at that price??? Mary RM Posted February 10, 2010 #82 Share Posted February 10, 2010 Hi Everyone-----I've seen no mention of Brandy from the Bon Voyage Dept. Anyone know if they carry brandy. My husband and I like Brandy & 7up. I know I can bring on my own 7 up as it looks like they carry sprite. But I don't see the brandy listed on any of the lists people are listing on the boards. Thank You to any & each that answer. Mary

T&Dcruisers Posted February 11, 2010 #89 Share Posted February 11, 2010 I called and that's the price she gave me for the Fosters. Doesn't necessarily mean she was correct though. It's the 12oz bottles, not the 24+ oz. cans.
klmorg Posted February 11, 2010 #90 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Anyone know the current price of a bucket of beer? Last year a bucket of four bottles was cheaper than buying one at a time. Just working the math her. Thanks! I posted this on another beer thread awhile back... I just looked at my receipts from the Legend last month: Bud/Bud Light, 16 oz. - $21.00 for bucket of four, or $24.15 with gratuity. Corona, 12 oz. - $17.80 for bucket of four, or $20.47 with gratuity. You save $2.00 if you buy a bucket vs. four single beers. Bon Voyage would be cheaper! T&Dcruisers Posted February 11, 2010 #92 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Well, I just called back to actually place an order and this time I was told that all the bottled beers are 12 oz, not 16 oz. So $4.75 for 12oz is not a deal. Ugh, why can't carnival get the information straight? update: ordered Bud Light for $4.75, comes in 16oz cans, not aluminum bottles. Didn't think Carnival had Bud in 16 oz cans... It will be interesting to see what folks get when the get on board. I know they had the 16 ounce Bud last April...it comes in the red aluminum bottle...I know because I drank some:) Usually drink Bud Light, but I wasn't gonna turn down a free Bud. Well actually, I usually drink Busch Light, but they don't sell that on Carnival:) Years ago I took like 12 Busch Lights in my luggage, got a few strange looks when I drank those. Don't flame, I'm not a career smuggler, just wanted my Busch Light.

Hey, will one of you guys, or Jason, come back and report after your cruise if you got the 16 or the 12 oz. for the $4.75? Oh, the suspense! If mine are 12 ounce, I'll probably write a complaint to the CEO, all dept heads, BBB, Attorney General of every state Carnival sails from and John Heald...maybe even threaten to never cruise Carnival again.. Or, just have fun with my family and 39 friends. I'm gonna enter and win the mixology contest anyways and I heard the winner gets lots of free drinks:)
