As for calling to make reservations? Only if you are 60 days out and that

is for Capt's Club members. I wanted to make a reservation and the gal

told me I needed to wait till March 16th if I want to do it over the phone.

(I sail May 16th.)

I was told Feb. 13 for the May 16 sailing

I just checked in My Reservations section and clicked on "Specialty Dining." The message says I can reserve Normandy up to 4 days before my sailing (May 9).

My cruise is the Millennium July 2nd and I booked my specialty restaurant two (2) weeks ago. Somethings amiss at Celebrity! Keep calling them as they must have a computer problem.

I know, that is why I keep posting what I did...there is a problem

with the SUMMIT sailings in May. Calling someone special or calling

back again won't help. I will wait till the end of the month as was

suggested to me. They are definitely having computer problems.

Sweetpea, that is the normal message but when I try to book

it will not allow it at this time.

:)Well, I just checked again and now I was able to book a couple of evenings in Normandie:D. Still waiting for the shore excursions to

become available but at least my specialty dining is now in there:)

Hi Jenn,:) you can do it either way. You book on line you pay now.

You book on board they charge your S&S account.

I was just so happy to see it available I booked 2.;)

I'm doing a 7 night on Summit in May to Bermuda. I booked Normandie for our 2nd night. Do you know when formal nights are, and should I go to the MDR on formal nights or go to Normandie?

We noticed that dress was more formal to Normandie that MDR. Def. wear a dark suit

or tux. I wore a dark sport jacket to MDR with slacks and felt fine on dressy nights.

Food is suppose to be superb at Normandie but we did not go because of its lower

deck location and low ceilings. The MDR was overall excellent.

:)

I called Celebrity to ask what the formal nights are for our cruise on May 9th on Summit. The rep. said Monday and Friday are formal nights' date=' so we can decide which nights to eat at Normandie. I'm going for Sunday.........yum..............[/quote']

:)Thank you...that is the reason I wanted to know also!!!! Lisa
