breezy I've been listening to Tony Kornheiser's radio show all week from Washington calling for the firing/lynching of all DC and PG's county officials because of the lack of snow removal. Funny show. :p

My street hasn't been plowed at all since the blizzard started last week. The neighbors at the top of my cul-de-sac dug 2 paths on the street together but the ones a little further down just tried to drive on top of it and have packed it down. Not to smart because now that its melting it's ice. Some people can't drive up the hill....Sorry for my rant! We now return to your regularly scheduled programming.......

OK,OK MAKE IT STOP, I'm crying here and my stomach hurts. We have been on several as you can see from my sig and as all of you have said there is always those few that stand out, we saw Santa and Mrs Clause on the beach in St Martin ( yes I have a a pic) he was in the water and couldn"t get out, that started it for us after that we have seen Elvis, Suzanne summers ( at about 65 yo) complete with puppy dog ear hair do and short shorts ( the thigh master didn't work btw, lol) some guy dressed like Holly Hobby, yep dress with HH print, wig stockings the works Yep got a pic of him too ( creepy), last cruise on the Triumph found where Gilligans island crew went to, yep there was a group that I swear looked just like them and even acted the same. Gilligan was just as silly and seemed to like being in the center they kept us laughing the entire cruise. yes there were the others as well and they were funny and it's a blast watching them Oh almost forgot the "bathrobe clan" you know who they are, ( be afraid, very afraid, lol)

Yes, I can see how this could be fun, but then I think, hum wonder how people are labeling me. Do you ever wonder what the people watchers are labeling you?

Honestly, I would love to know. I am always fascinated by how others perceive me. I actually developed a nickname at my last job... I always thought I was an easy going person, but apparently, I was tougher than most... and so I was nicknamed "the sheriff". I got a kick out of it because it's not how I perceived myself to be.

I am sure "badonkadonk" girl would fit me too...

It's all in the fun. We're big people watches too. We do that sometimes too, but my DH and I usually try to figure out who other people look like... like a mix between Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Garner...or something.

Okay are you "big" people watchers, or "big people" watchers?

the second brings on names like "speedo man" and "lost the speedo man"

We're guilty of it too...On our last cruise on the Fantasy, there was a gal one morning sitting at the table next to us that had 22 pieces of bacon (erm...yes we counted) piled on top of a huge mound of scrambled eggs. DH nicknamed her "the baconator".

is he the reason why they had a crew member "dole out" bacon on my cruise?

Bindere Dundat - The cruise know-it-all who spends all day on Cruise Critic and then spews endless information about the ship, crew, ports, etc. But, with counseling, I am getting better.

LOL! That was me on my first cruise "honey, I read on CC that you can get juice any time of the day, they just removed the labels!"

Hi guys,

Maybe some people might take offense to this, but it is in no way meant to be offensive. It's just all in good fun.

Hubby and I are big people watchers... especially in the dining room. During our two cruises, we have seen some interesting people. Now, I know nothing about these people, other than just being a silent observer on the outside. However, usually, after a night or two, you start to sense a general trend about what these people are like. And hubby and I... well, we tend to give these people names. It's like a private joke between the two of us. Maybe it's bad of us, but we mean no harm... it's just a way of identifying them. Anyways, here have been some of the characters we have observed:

"The trophy wife"

"The hot twins"

"The girl who never smiles"

"See through shirt lady"

"Ida and her side kick"

I would go into detail, but in case any of these people are actually on CC, I will refrain. Either way, I am sure other people on here have observed individuals, and since you don't really know them... you have to refer to them by something. Have you ever come up with names for other people like we do?

Please only give nicknames that would in no way identify anyone.

Absolutely we do this! Last cruise, there was Bunny, similar to your trophy wife I'm sure. Also "Elevator Lady", which is what she also called us! I love to people watch. Oh and once there was sombrero guy. He is my inspiration as I plan to bring a sombrero back this time!

Lol I know theres got to be plenty of us ample bottom ladies on CC! There are some men who like junk in the trunk, some who don't and then there are the creepy ones that like it a little too much!:p I can't stand it when guys walk up to me and say "you got a big butt" as part of they're pick up line. I know I have a big butt and I don't need you to tell me. It's been there my whole life!

Not the same bikini guy that is posted but our personal favorite "Dude looks like a lady" on Pride out of Port Canaveral. He seemed to be in his 20's. Seriously..........my thought, is a one piece bathing suit too much to ask or are you looking for attention (erm, if ya know what I mean)?

You can bet than ANYONE who would be stupid enough to use "you got a big butt" as a pick up line would get nowhere near my trunk...and the junk is just right out!!! Jeeze. Idiots are everywhere, though, I guess

I think they call us the giant family. I am shortest at 5'9", DD(13) is 5'10", DH is 6'4" and DS (15) is 6'5". You should see the looks we get when people get in the elevator with us or when we stand up to leave a restaurant. Some even make a comment on it as one boy did in the last hotel we stayed at. He was going into the elevator as we were leaving. He looked up and said "Man, you guys is tall!"

Mr/Ms Know-It-All (the guy or woman who is an expert on every facet of cruising who lies in wait to impress others with their vast knowledge. Two cruises back she was a travel agent that would sit on the lido deck and wait for some unsuspecting "victim" to sit near her and she would launch into a looooong diatribe about her career in travel since 1905 and why the cruise we were on was so terrible. If I ever considered shoving someone overboard, it was her.)

Hmm... I think I know who you are talking about.

We had bi-polar guy once. You never knew which damn emotion you were going to get. We decided to avoid him after a couple of days.

LOL I was checking into a hotel once and at 5'2" I had to stand on my tiptoes to sign the paper at the registration desk. I take my little bag and my 5'8" daughter and get on an elevator with 4 players from the Miami Heat. I felt like one of the munchkins in Wizard of Oz!

How about...

Party in the back- you'll recognize him as the guy with a mullet who gets it braided on the first stop...

Saggy Granny- the grandma who not only swims in the adults only pool topless, but also PUTS ON her swimsuit poolside...not to mention the fact that she was holding a 2 yr old....ewww

Tramp Stamp- the girl who always wears a shirt so short her tramp stamp is always visable

Man-boobs...and i'm not talkin a little- I'm talking put MINE to shame...DDD bad boys....

No neck...

Camera phone couple...

Pat....the person you still can't figure out if they're male or female....

Snake skinboots- there's always someone..

The plastics- the couple that thinks they're the hottest thing since french toast- yet they are both too tan, too blonde, and have had too much work...

And I have been caught using the names! On one of the cruises I went on when I was single, I found a guy we called Cigar man. He always had a straw fedora and cigar. One night I was sitting at the bar and my friend and i were talking about him and HE CAUGHT ME! lol it turned out to be pretty funny, he laughed, bought me some drinks and we hung out. Awhile later we were all in the hot tub and his nose started bleeding...from then on, he was bloody nose guy. lol

My DH have been playing this game for years. When we are out and about one of us will pick out a person, couple, or group and describe who they are, what they do, and basically everything about their life. The other person then gets a turn at their perception of this situation. We decide who is right (yea, there have been some fights) but usually there's a clear winner in our little game. Great way to pass the time at the airport.
