Hi there, does anyone know what date the Carribbean cruise dates are released? not sure if we want Mar/April/May or June sailings .....thanks :)

Summer 2011 Caribbean was supposed to be released today. Nothing on Princess website yet. If you are interested in March or April of 2011, that has been available for some time now.

So glad to see that at least they are working on Summer 2011...several cruiselines even have some 2012 dates released. I really want to plan now for July 2011, and am ready to know where I am going!

This is a first time post as I have been 'cruising the forum' far a few weeks but have not had anything useful to say yet.

I too am waiting for Carib Summer 2011 itineraries from NYC as we plan to wed on our 1st cruise.

I had emailed Princess and this morning received this reply:

"We anticipate that the 2011/12 Caribbean brochure will be released in June/July 2010. I regret that we will not have details of the itineraries, prices and applicable discounts until that time and we cannot take any advanced bookings.

If you would like to register for a copy of the brochure, please call our dedicated brochure line on 0844 579 0099 and they will send one out to you as soon as possible."

I have all fingers crossed that they will have at least one ship sailing from Ft. Lauderdale to the Caribbean during summer 2011. I grew up in New York, and worked on Wall Street. I would like to do without the hassle of leaving from N.Y.

Applicable to UK - I went into a travel agent today and Princess Captain Circle members will be able to book on Saturday for 2011 med cruises whereas it will be 26th before they go on general sale (most of you will know this already I'm sure). The TA happened to mention that the caribbean 2011 would also be avaialable this weekend! Don't know how true this is or whether they really will be available on Saturday, Lets hope that this info is correct!

I am interested in what Princess has for next year in the Caribbean. It seems to me that the cruise lines are dragging their feet on getting their itineraries out this year. Maybe it's just me.:o

I'm wondering if the delay may have something to do with the looming repeal of a portion of the Alaskan head tax. I'm guessing, based on strong sales in Alaska for 2010, that they are already going to deploy at least one more ship to that region in 2011, and with a repeal, they may opt to have another. :confused: Pure conjecture, of course.

I think the original schedule Princess had for releases has been pushed back, not entirely sure why. They were going to release the Caribbean in 2 segments, one for the summer and then another date for the other sailings.

My TA called Princess today and was told the schedule would be out next week. She's a new TA so can't say if she really knows what she's talking about or not...:confused:

Last year, Princess announced Summer 2010 Caribbean on April 29th and the rest of the Caribbean season wasn't announced until June 8th. They seem to be following a similar schedule this year.

My TA called Princess yesterday afternoon for me. The story she got was that they "might" know sometime in May.

I believe if you called 12 times, you would get 12 different stories, depending on who you talked to.

Not a stop on Princess Cays on any of those Caribbean sailings. I would miss that lovely day on the beach.

Don't get your hopes up for anything out of FLL. The Emerald has already been announced for Europe, and the numbers just don't add up... we're about out of ships!

Looking like NYC is your only Princess caribbean option this summer.

We just got off the Emerald and when we went to purchase our Future Cruise Credit, the girl said they wouldn't be out until July. We're looking to book for November 2011.

The Caribbean was going to be released in 2 ways/times. First, summer (along with Canada NE) and then the rest will be released at a later date.
