Do they go to the exact same ports? Some ships alternate itineraries. If you are going to "see" the islands and it alternates itineraries, fine. If not and you are sailing out of Fla, and ports are important I'd get off of one ship and get on another that is going to different ports. The demographics will be a bit different than if you took one 14 day cruise. A couple of years ago we did two 7 dayers out of the same port (Ft Lauderdale) on differnt ships and to different islands and it was not that big a deal to get off one ship and go over to other.
