Great Job Kristin! You are making me anxious to go again! Unfortunately it will only be a 4 day on Ecstasy and with an oceanview but hey cruising is better than staying home and going to work, any day!

 

Thanks Josette!! Appreciate it girl! Yes, better to be cruising, LOL! After my mom saw all my pictures we took, she decided her & I needed to make our mother/daughter vacation a cruise. So now I don't have to wait until next December for my Magic cruise, her & I are booking to go on a 5 day on the Ecstasy for less than a year from now!! Yay!!!!

 

I have enjoyed this review and the pictures so much! We aren't on this ship or this itinerary, but I just love reading as many reviews as possible. Less than four months to go and I am chomping at the bit! Well done!

How exciting! Yes, there are so many other occasions when we could cruise together without the DHs. I really enjoyed going with my girlfriend in August...although she is a doll and put up with me, I got so sick and was not a very good patient. Check out my photos of Ecstasy in one of the reviews posted in my signature. Chef's table is something to do if you are into gastronomy. I have that food porn on my FB if you want to peek at it. I sure enjoyed your photos too here. So let me know when you go.

After dinner, we stopped by the internet cafe real quick & by the cabin for DH to change back into shorts.

 

 

 

We went by the Loutrac Lounge for a minute & watched those learning to do a country western dance. Finally caught up & met the CD, Chris J. & per Lambie's request, he let me give him a kiss on the cheek. What a great sport, LOL!

We then went over to the Degas lounge for the 9:45 Comedy show with John Wesley Austin. It was a good show, but not as funny as the others IMO. After the show, we grabbed a slice of pizza & sat out on the balcony just taking in the wonderful night!!! Off to bed....Next.....Our las sea day.

 

I LOVE THE PHOTOS!!! but I left this one especially!!!!

 

There's our Country Cowboy Chris!!!! You BOTH look GREAT!!! And I thank you!!! I'm glad he got his kiss!!!

Yes, looking for more! I know Meyer, the end of a review means the end of reliving the cruise so you just don't want to finish the review. Where is your new countdown clock for the cruise with your mom? That'll help!

 

LOL, honestly I didn't think about unpacking photos, will have to remember atleast loading the van pictures for afterwards. LOL! I need to change my countdown clocks, your right, guess I just hadn't thought about it since we haven't officially booked the Ecstasy one just yet. We meet with the travel agent on Tuesday! Woo Hoo!

 

I need to go back & see exactly where I left off here so I can finish up.

I've never taken the unpacking ones... but I truly want more of her review!!!

 

We're at 90 days and counting!!! Can't wait!!! Mom will turn 86 on this cruise... on Superbowl day!!!

 

You've got 25 days... WOOO HOO!!!

 

if you have a chance... We're in the accessible cabin U237... Hide a note somewhere and I'll see if it's still there in Feb!!! :D

Hey Lambie! I feel like I know you and your mom! I have seen a lot of your photos when you brought your mom on her birthday cruise with you and probably have read most of your more than 59,000 posts. I do wish we could be on the same ship someday and yes, I will see if I can find a crack somewhere around U237 and post a note for you. I suppose a little graffiti somewhere on board might get me a bit too close for comfort to the brig!

 

Yes I know Meyer 2 from WW in Porter since 2006. My husband and she joined on the same day after she had her precious second one, I think! Isn't that right M2? Of course, I have known since April that she and her DH were going on this cruise and have looked forward to her posts and hearing how she would like it.

 

M2 book that cruise on Ecstasy and go soon so you can post a review. I plan on posting one of the 4 day too December 2. I have to go see my mom in Quebec next week and freeze for 9 days before the big sailaway. The cruise is my reward for freezing my butt off.

 

Krysten, sorry, didn't mean to hijack but I feel like we are all one big family. Can't wait to see more photos of you and DH and Conquest. Thanks for a wonderful time. You've got FB mail!

Yep, we planned a little over a year out for this cruise, and 17mths out for the Magic! LOL! The Ecstasy cruise will be my shortest waiting time! I know you will enjoy your cruise in December & Lambie in February. We wanted to swing the Feb. group one, but just couldn't. The 1st half of the year is pretty much out for us as far as traveling because of dance team competitions for our DD & then swim team for the kids. Quebec, very cool, enjoy! But yes, Brrrrr.

 

Sorry I slacked again, LOL, but our youngest had been sick with a bad cold. I wish our scanner didn't go to printer heaven, LOL, we got some good pictures that we purchased. I'll have to see if I can find someone's to borrow, my neighbor will maybe let me.

After taking our picture with Chris J., DH & I headed to Deck 4 to the Renoir for dinner, our last night in the dining room. <Sniff, sniff> Dinner tonight was once again, wonderful!! I've read some about some of the waitstaff not enjoying the dancing and/or singing. I'm sure there are some that truly don't enjoy doing things like that, but I will say, all the waiters & waitstaff & Maitre D truly seemed to enjoy doing this for their guests.

 

Okay, back to the food, LOL! DH had the fresh fruit as the starter, flat iron steak & the St. Louis BBQ ribs & of course, you guessed it, LOL, WCMC for dessert. DH tried to have as much steak as he could on the cruise, as I don't cook it much at home. Hahaaa!

 

I had the shrimp cocktail & then the grilled chicken fettucini with mushroom sauce as apps. Then I had some of the panko crusted shrimp & ribs for dinner. (Had to try some of each, LOL!) That's a lot of food though, couldn't eat it all! A little bit of WCMC, I can't handle too much of it.

DH also had hot chocolate every evening with dessert, except for 1 night.
