Agent999 Posted January 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2011 That very question is addressed in the Terms and Conditions part of the Latitudes page on NCLs website.

jdvmd Posted January 16, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2011 For children under the age of 18, cruises will be counted but not recognized until they turn 18.

Ds turns 18 this year, so he will now have 2 cruises to his name when he gets to that stage.
Rare sparks1093 Posted January 17, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Can minors get latitudes numbers and start collecting cruise credits before they reach 18? All 5 of our boys have their own Latitudes number. You just need to make sure when you book that the booking agent uses them so the kids get credit. DH and I already have ours from our first cruise many years ago, but the kids took their first cruise in November 2009. Or is it too late now? NCL should have the info if you give them a call, the numbers are assigned at booking.
Zimomiller Posted January 17, 2011 #9 Share Posted January 17, 2011 Does not hurt to double check the history with the latitudes dept. Our daughter received her official latitudes recognition when she turned 18. They listed her as silver, but when we reviewed her history she qualified as gold. Just had to fax the latitudes people the evidence of her missing cruise on their records.
helicopter Posted January 17, 2011 #10 Share Posted January 17, 2011 I just had to get grandsons numbers from cruises on NCL years ago. I emailed the latitues department (site map on NCL will give it to you) and within a few days I had the numbers:)
