4TH Of July Onboard Sapphire Princess

Does anyone know what, if anything, will be happening on the 4TH of July on board the Sapphire Princess? It is a full sea day for us, sailing between Seattle and Ketchikan. Are the crew going to light fireworks off the stern?

 

Obviously, I won't be going to Boom City and picking up the good stuff this year like I usually do. Spending the night in the brig and being put ashore in Ketchikan is not part of my vacation plan...

No fireworks on my cruise over the 4th. Just an artful and pretty food display in the atrium.

Sorry, you will not find fireworks shot off a Princess ship. But you will find things like the atrium decorated and a Patriotic theme that Day/evening.

when we were on a Celebrity Alaskan cruise we were in Ketchikan and

there was a 4th of July parade in town. The ship didn't decorate or

do anything special.

 

I sure hope no one would be stupid enough to shoot off fireworks on

a ship. :rolleyes:

Yeah, definitely no fireworks. Disney is the only line that can shoot fireworks from their ships. Maybe you'll be near their ship in Alaska on the 4th... :)

And if you're lucky, you'll be on board on July 1st, which is Canada Day and the ship will be decorated for that too... :)

We will not be on board for Canada Day; our ship leaves Seattle on 3 July 2011.
