Miracle to Bermuda, docking question

Recommended Posts

Plan to book the cruise in a day or so and need to know from those who came back which side the ship was docked on.

I know you were at king wharf dock but did you go straight in or turn around?

Starboard to land

port to water

kind of thing.

Thanks.

How was the vibration on the aft decks?

I have seen both while docked there.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no bad side while docked in Bermuda at the Dockyard. Anyway, it is a crap-shoot as to which side goes to the dock. Some of the deciding factors would be needed maintenance, lifeboat drills & current weather conditions and forecasted.

came back a few weeks ago miracle ny to bermuda and we docked at heritage wharf with port to dock......but there is never any way of knowing in advance.....seemed like both sides were just as beautiful but was interesting to see the comings and goings of the ship since we had plenty of water views the rest of the trip

It is a crap shoot that is for sure.

I have been both ways and didn't mind the water view but Id like the sunset view if possible and people watch.

Thanks for the post from a few weeks ago.You docked at heritage.. humm. Was there another ship there already?

Not saying that is how it will go but I think Im going to gamble port :D

We are booked on the Miracle for Sept....I am hoping we get Port to the dock....we have an aft-wrap on the starboard corner and that would give us a lovey view of Great Sound!! Otherwise, we get a great view of the Ocean...lol...either way, I'm happy!!

it depends on way too many factors: current, tide, weather, ship maintenance, etc.

don't know if having two docks now plays a role.

we have been there 4 times; 3 port, and one starboard.
