Liztoybiz Posted May 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2011 Silly question, is there any horseradish offered at the Park Cafe (think that's the name of it)? And is is straight horseradish or the white kind that is mixed? Many thanks! Liz in Kingwood Oasis in 22 days!!
tx_sweetpea Posted May 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2011 If I remember correctly, they offered 3 topping choices. Horseradish, mustard, and I can't think of the 3rd right now. I don't know any details about the horseradish because I didn't eat it.
oldandslow Posted May 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2011 Yes, horseradish (straight not creamed) is offered either on the sandwich, on the side, or both. I asked for extra roast beef (on the side) as well as extra horseradish. No problem getting either. One of the best roast beef/prime rib sandwiches I have ever had. Enjoy! Cruise Gopher Posted May 21, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2011 Horsey sauce is what they call it at Arby's. Yummmmm
Liztoybiz Posted May 21, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted May 21, 2011 Yes, creamed, that's the term. Thanks so much guys for this information. It just isn't roast beef without some horseradish. I'll have one for each of you ;-) Liz
Pookie718 Posted May 21, 2011 #8 Share Posted May 21, 2011 I just got off the Oasis this morning, and the horseradish is the straight kind, not creamed! They have a special mustard sauce with other stuff in it. I don't like mustard, but that sauce was very good. Can't go wrong with this sandwich, or the made to order salads they do in the Park Cafe as well. Also, only place on board to grab a bag of potato chips, doritos, or sun chips! Deserts there were very good, especially the black forest cake.....missing it already! Penny:D
cruzkitty Posted May 21, 2011 #9 Share Posted May 21, 2011 Thanks, Penney!! I usually start craving a bag of chips and have to go buy them somewhere-now I know! I am craving one of those roast beef sandwiches right now. Tell us more about your cruise when you get time...:p
CAT GIRL Posted May 22, 2011 #10 Share Posted May 22, 2011 I swear they put something addictive in those roast beef sandwiches. No more Windjammer for us for lunch. Once we discovered them we were back every day.
Sugar*Magnolia Posted May 22, 2011 #11 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Horsey sauce is what they call it at Arby's. Yummmmm Apologies, I didnt know Arby's still existed, not that those sandwiches are roast beef - and maybe thats why they gave the horseradish the name they did.
