Lol! Almost your over review? Right me?

Yep, almost over. Will probably finish it tomorrow afternoon.

Great review and pictures! My mom and I are going on our 2nd cruise together tomorrow. You have to enjoy the time you have with your loved ones because you really don't know how long you have with them. Keep the review coming!

Thanks! How fun for you & your mom! You are so right in enjoying the time that we can. We have cruise #2 for us in the works/planning stage, but it will have to be after our family cruise this next summer. But, her & my dad will be on that cruise along with us.

Outside the Church, across the street.

Some pictures from inside the bus, along the ride to the next stop, a Mayan Cemetery.

At our next stop, the cemetery, there were these trees with huge pea pods.

DSC_0356.jpg

That tree looks like a flamboyant tree, after the beautiful orange blooms have turned into pods. Is it from the mimosa family? I love this tree when it is in full bloom. Didn't realize it would make pods like this just like our mimosa trees do. Same as poinciana tree as far as the name goes...didn't know that until now.

Hubby & I went down the slide once on the Conquest, but that's all I've done. :)

Thanks!! It's a Nikon D40. I'm hoping to upgrade maybe next year before our 2nd Magic cruise, will see though. :)

After dinner, we went by the cabin as I wanted to change out of my dinner dress. Here's tonight's towel animal.

Heading back to Galveston.

This shows Katia & then what ended up becoming Nate I think the day after we went through it. We only had light rain, nothing too rough.

We then headed to the Starlite Lounge to watch Karaoke for a little while. We sat with Cathy & Karen (From our table) until about 10:00 when we decided to go walking around the ship until about 11:00. We then headed to Lido for the Mexican buffet. We just had a few chips with cheese, quesidilla & something else, LOL, can't remember. Once we were done, we headed back to the cabin to sit on the balcony & drink some of our wine we had brought. Then off to bed.

Wednesday, 9/7/11, Sea Day

We woke up around 8:30, dressed & went to the Wind Start MDR for breakfast. I had my usual (My favorite) french toast & bacon. Mom had the omlet with ham & cheese & a side of bacon.

We then looked at photos at the photo gallery, purchased some & stopped by the internet cafe. At 11:00, we went to the Blue Sapphire Lounge for the Newlywed & Marriage Show, which of course was hilarious. The show finished about 11:45, so we went back to the cabin to drop our stuff off & just sat out at the balcony for about 10 min. Then, off to lunch in the MDR at 12:00.

Mom had the Fish & Chips, & bread pudding for dessert.

I had the Fish & Chips, & German chocolate cake for dessert.

All tasted so good. After lunch, we went to the neon piano bar for a CC M&M to visit with our new friends. Our little Farewell get together. For some reason, I didn't end up taking any pictures of us here, LOL. We stayed there until about 2:45. We needed to get out of there, as they needed to set up for the afternoon tea. We stood nearby & talked with Jena & her hubby until about 3 & then we headed back to our cabin to start some of the packing. We only did that for about 30 min, it's not so fun, since you know you have to get off the ship the next day. LOL.

Circle "C" & I took a picture of the events for that day, just in case anyone was curious on some of the activities. My oldest was a little interested in seeing what they would have.

We got most of our packing done in that time, but started getting a little sad knowing the cruise was almost over. Ready to see hubby's & my kids, but still sad it's almost time to get off the wonderful Ecstasy. So....We went walking again to snap a few more pictures & playing some of the 1c slots in the Casino. Big spenders, I know, LOL!

The Serenity deck. Which is all the way aft. We stopped by here, but never made it to lay out there, the one time we had planned on it, it had rained some.

They were doing some work on the deck below. Not really quiet for those right above.

Then a quick small snack.

Then we walked back to the shops at the front of the store, just to browse a little again. We went back to the cabin about 4:30 so we could shower & get ready for dinner.

The Fun Farewell party was tonight at 5, they do still have the free drinks, but we decided we didn't want to go, so I can't report on that for this cruise.

When we got to dinner at 6, Eunice & Susanne had their 'fancy' glasses. LOL

Tonight's dinner. Mom had the crab cake for the starter, Salmon with a sauce (Sorry, I don't remember what kind), and Ameretto cake for dessert.

I had the onion soup for the starter, flat iron steak & for the side, I asked for mac & cheese, which they brought me, looks like the kids menu size, and I had some WCMC for dessert. I could never eat all of one though, that's for sure.

Well!! Do you like balcony on the Ecstasy??

Loved the balcony!! I can just sit out there & let time pass, it's always such a nice view to enjoy & relaxing. Back in October, when I cruised with hubby on the Conquest, he napped out on the balcony. :)
