Changing Credit card info in Express Docs.

I have completed and printed out my Express Documents and am within 30 days of sailing. I just received a new credit card that I want to now use for charges on-board.

 

Can I (and should I) change the Express Documents online form? Any problems/issues doing this? My travel agent said to just change it once onboard the ship, but this can be a hassle IMO.

 

Any thoughts?

I did this without any problems. Just go into online check-in and edit the relevant bit.

You might ask them to verify that they've got the correct credit card registered when you check in. And if they don't know on the pier, at some point in the cruise (avoid the first-day rush!) you should probably check on this.

Don't stress about it. If for any reason you don't get it changed on line, (but you probably can edit easily), you CAN change it when you check in at the dock.

I changed mine when we were doing the actual check in at the port with HAL staff - it was no problem at all.

I once needed to edit other info I had entered and it was easy so I have to believe it would be easy to edit anything at all that you previously entered.

I've changed my credit card information several time right at the dock, at check in. Very easy to do it as they want to swipe your card at that time, Hal certainly doesn't care what card as long as you have one.

Definitely confirm that they've processed the change. I got the HAL Visa after I'd already completed the online checkin w/ another card, and once it came in, I changed the card online, but apparently the change didn't go all the way through. When I got my credit card statement, it had gone to the card I originally put in my online checkin info.

I believe you can change up until 48 hours before sailing. Just be sure to apply the change in credit card info to the other person in your cabin, too.
