any problems w/bring a friend?

we just invited a friend to cruise with us for the first time. when I tried to to register for the bring a friend $25 credit it kept kicking me out, called C&A and it was not a problem getting it rectified!! is RCL wanting everyone to call in to get "SMALL" issues rectified?:confused::rolleyes:

Maybe just another website glitch. I had no problems registering or using it last month.

that's nice to know, I tried for 4 days and entered both friends B-days and info with no results until I called C&A:confused:

Just a quick FYI - I booked during the WOW sale and then tried to include the Refer a Friend. I received a Not Qualified message online so I called and they said that nothing can be combined with the sale, including Refer a Friend. Thought I'd let you know in case you ran into the same thing.

Group bookings are also a disqualifying factor for the bring a friend OBC.

Just a quick FYI - I booked during the WOW sale and then tried to include the Refer a Friend. I received a Not Qualified message online so I called and they said that nothing can be combined with the sale, including Refer a Friend. Thought I'd let you know in case you ran into the same thing.

I applied for the credit and was rejected also. Ours was because our reservation was booked before 1/21/11. I was bummed, but I understand that the dates were part of the promotion, and I had just missed that info when I applied.

Wow, I applied and had two bring-a-friends approved for our next trip...which was booked in July 2010:eek: Moved from original date to a new date in January of 2011 (well before the 21st) and invoice still reflects 7/2010 as original book date. Good luck with that:D

I had problems applying for mines as well. I realized I had to start the online check in process first to enter my friend`s birthday and then apply for it. Right now it`s sitting in a pending status since the cruise is not until next September.

the C&A rep was VERY helpful and said I had all the correct info. When he entered it everything was fine and everything qualified, he said it will take up to 5 days to receive the credit, we'll see what happens:)

I also applied for this credit for 4 cabins on a cruise next month. I guess I need to call C&A to be sure it has applied? Can you check it online?
