KirkNC Posted February 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2012 Yes Egypt is just too unstable now for me to visit.
Rare cruisemom42 Posted February 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2012 This story hit home since I did the same tour from Sharm el Sheikh to St. Catherine's monastery barely 15 months ago. There is certainly some desolate road between the two points, out in the Sinai desert. It was a terrific day though. It's a shame to see Egypt losing tourist business due to the fears about safety. havcamwiltravel Posted February 5, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2012 Yes, it is so sad to see this. It's going to take a long time, I fear, for Egypt's tourism industry to see the numbers that visited pre-2011.
