Taking water on excursions

Recommended Posts

Yes you can. You can also bring on bottled water, as long as it hasn't been opened yet. They will check out what you bring on board. We have never had ours confiscated on RC. We always bring bottled water onto the ship, and use that when we go on excursions.

Hope this helps you out some.

Can I take bottled water off FOS when we go to St. Thomas and St. Maarten?

Yes, you can but there are places to buy a bottle of water off the ship too. If you are going to the beach or shopping drinks will be avaliable for purchase.

Bottled water on the islands is often much cheaper than on board (if you are purchasing it to take off). Something to keep in mind.

Yes, bringing it back maybe another issue. I think it was ST Maarten that made us throw away any opened bottles coming back to the ship. I don't remember St. Thomas clearly.

Yes, in fact they will sell you water at the gangway just before going through security getting off the ship.

but like akruz said its cheaper on the island than on the ship.
