dijid Posted May 31, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2012 If I book a 10 night cruise, is the hotel charge calculated x10, or is it x11? I know it's not a deal-breaker, just something I've been unable to find an answer for when searching and would like to know. Thanks.

catl331 Posted May 31, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2012 A 10 night cruise is also a 10 day cruise, since you get on around noon on embarkation day and off well before noon on disembarkation day. The embarkation/debarkation day can not be charged to both arriving and departing guests! ;)
sail7seas Posted May 31, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2012 Ten. Most of us board in time to have lunch on embarkation day on the ship. We then have dinner. On last morning before we leave for disembarkation, we have breakfast. That completes three meals for each day of the cruise. Two are on our first day and one is on the morning we leave. A ten day cruise has ten days' worth of hotel service charge.
dijid Posted June 1, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Thanks for confirming what I'd thought. It's only been since last year that we sailed (different line, we're looking at HAL for our next cruise), but I was having doubts as to my memory holding out on how many nights we were charged for.
