How long did it take for your non-expedidited passport to arrive in the mail? We applied today (08/14/12) and leave home on 09/15/12. Think we're gonna make it?? :eek:

2 weeks from post office to getting it in the mail. Just did it in late June.

 

ETA: This was from California. You should get it no later than 3 weeks.

three maybe 4 weeks but that was a year ago. I wasn't expecting it that quick. I applied at the first of May knowing I would need it in Jan of this year and told BF to keep an eye out for it in the mail since I would be out of state at a girlfriends house and it came just before I left. You are going to be cutting it really close I think

Exactly three weeks here for a renewal this summer. This was Philadelphia.

last year it took 2 weeks from Garland PO to Our house in Wylie and they were not expedited.

Mine took 4 weeks. You can go online and check the status of your application and put in your email and they will send you updates. Go to http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html and look on the left side and you will see "Application Status" That is what I did and they emailed me when it was mailed. Hope you get yours on time!!

Our passports took 3 weeks, I think, but that was a couple of years ago.

I Feb 2008 it took exactly 2 weeks for ours.

You're cutting it close. Hopefully you'll get your BC back sooner than that. (assuming that you're on a Caribbean closed-loop cruise)

 

Mine took 4 weeks a year ago.

I mailed mine Thursday Sept 1, 2011 and got it back in the mail Monday Sept 12, 2011. That was over Labor Day weekend also~

Just got mine a few days ago....it took about 3 weeks.

Hopefully there is nothing wrong on the application. Unfortunately they didn't like my photo the first time around and it was mailed back to reapply. From then it only took 2-3 weeks. Good luck

My son's took ~10 days in early June. It was a renewal, but they make you come in and fill out an application like it is new for a minor.

From the moment it left my hand to the day it was back, ny renewal was 20 days.

It took 3 weeks for mine last year, but my husbands was rejected. They did not like his birth certificate (was an original with raised seal), his rejection took another week for us to recieve and then 3 more weeks to fix. Good luck.

 

BTW...we got our birth certificates back 5-6 days after we got the passports.

just got mine back last week (renewal)... took 25 days from the date I dropped it in the mail..

Mine took 25 days. I already had my passport card, just wanted the book. I couldn't check the status online for some reason. I was getting ready to call them when it showed up. I got my passport card back a couple days later. This was in June.

 

I can't remember how long the passport card took, but I think it was about 3 weeks. I remember thinking it was really fast. I sent for it in January this year.

My husband and I got our applications submitted at a post office on Aug. 4th and received them in the mail yesterday, Aug. 20th
